Spedco Kaltim started out as a forwarding contractor to support the oil and gas industries in East Kalimantan. Today, in addition to the marine, oil and gas industries, Spedco Kaltim plays a critical role in supporting the Indonesia coal mining industry which produced over 340 million metric tons (mt) of coal in 2011.
